To develop, implement and evaluate case plans to enrolled Puyallup Tribal children who are found to be children in need of care through the Puyallup Tribal Court. Facilitates family reunification or other permanent placement planning as deemed necessary by the Tribal Court. Initiates life-changing decisions based solely on the best interest of the children.

Perpetrator Treatment Counselor

GRANT FUNDED POSITION
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position provides culturally-appropriate domestic violence perpetrator treatment to clients of the Domestic Violence Advocacy Program. In addition to perpetrator treatment counseling, this position provides assessments and referrals to social service, cultural, medical and mental health providers to help heal the perpetrator. Washington State certification for the Domestic Violence Treatment Program and a knowledge of historical trauma and victimization issues are essential for this position.

Monitors Federal, State, Tribal agreements affecting employment on and off the Reservation in an effort to increase Native American employee referrals. Provides for the coordination and enforcement of the TERO Ordinance.
